ABDUL Haq Ingar, Ex-President of Islamic Society Toronto (Masjid Dar Us Salam), Thorncliffe Park Dr., Toronto, Canada, still holds an important position in Masjid, a Liberal Party member, actively supported a married (same-sex) gay Robert Oliphant for the Liberal Party nomination from Don Valley West. On March 2, a large number of Gujarati Community Muslims --long-bearded men and Burqa-clad women-- (members of liberal party) turned out to vote for Mr. Oliphant, a known and openly-declared gay. Mr. Oliphant announced Mr. Ingar as a major supporter and partner of his campaign. He acknowledged Ingar’s major role for winning the liberal nomination from a large Muslim community membership area in his brief speech after declaration of his winning nomination.

Who is Robert Oliphant?

Oliphant lives in Cabbagetown, Toronto with his husband, Marco Fiola, a Professor of Applied Linguistics at Ryerson University. Oliphant married Fiola in 2005, soon after same-sex marriage was legalized in Canada. In lieu of wedding gifts, guests were asked to make donations to the Capital Campaign of the The 519 Church St. Community Centre, a community centre in the Toronto gay district, and Eglinton St. George’s United Church, the parish where he is the lead minister. Oliphant also asked local same-sex couples wedded by him to make donation to the 519 rather than paying fees.

Oliphant is an out-of-the-closet gay man and United Church minister who worked as an advisor to former Liberal Ontario Premier David Peterson.

"The gay agenda, I think, has shifted," says Oliphant, who lives in Cabbagetown with his partner. "The legislation that we have needed regarding hate, violence, marriage, is done. But there are some transgender issues that I think our government has to address, and international human rights for gay and lesbian people, and I think Canada has to do more speaking up on these issues."

SHAME ON YOU MR. INGAR

Mr. Abdul Ingar campaigned for Oliphant by using the name of Masjid and community. He is extensively using the community resource and Masjid for gay and lesbian politicians. Mr. Ingar announced few months ago that he is contesting from this riding (Don Valley West, Toronto), but all of the sudden he withdrew his candidacy of nomination in favor of Robert Oliphant.

In the last Ontario State Election, Mr. Ingar supported a lesbian candidate by bringing her inside the Masjid several times. Mr. Ingar supported Kathleen Wynne who is the Education Minister of Ontario. According to the Wickepedia, Kathleen Wynne is the province's first openly lesbian cabinet minister, and only the second openly LGBT cabinet minister after cabinet colleague George Smitherman.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kathleen_Wynne

Kathleen Wynne is one of the main persons to play a major role on Ontario State same-sex marriage legislation. Following is an excerpt of her assembly speech on same-sex marriage legislation.

"I have to say," Ms. Kathleen O. Wynne (Don Valley West) said in debate on February 23, 2005, "as I've watched the federal debate unfold, when I began to read the ink that's being poured out on this debate federally, my initial position was, ‘What is the big fuss?’ I have been in both a heterosexual marriage, and I'm in a committed homosexual lesbian relationship. To me, the tired old institution of marriage was something that we probably should be polishing up. Originally, the debate was not one that I wanted to particularly engage in, but I have to say that as the debate has continued and as it has escalated and as the issue of human rights has become clearer, as we listen to people talk about rights being taken away or people being marginalized, it has become clearer and clearer to me that it's important and necessary that all of us who believe that this is a human rights issue and that it's the right thing to do to extend the right to marry to same-sex couples speak up on that."

In the same election (Ontario State Assembly), Mr. Abdul Haq Ingar opposed John Torry, the conservative leader from the same region. John Torry was promising state funding to religious schools of Muslims and for all other religious groups. Because of this stand, he and his party lost election. All the anti-religious forces were united against him. Mr. Abdul Ingar opposed Torry who was promising state funding of religious schools. Ingar supported a lesbian state Education Minister who played a leading role in the state same sex marriage legislation.

Do you think supporting a lesbian education minister and opposing a candidate with the promise of state funding of religious school is the issue of “innocence”?

No! He is a “matured” leader, and he knows everyone’s life styles. Kathleen Wynne’s son, a student, is also gay, and she is bound to protect the son’s “gay rights.”

Homosexuals Now Hold Both Key Ontario Government Ministries: Education and Health

Pro-gay Catholic teachers’ union applauds appointment of lesbian to education

By Hilary White

TORONTO, October 11, 2006 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In early September, the nominally Catholic premier of Ontario, Dalton McGuinty, appointed open lesbian Kathleen Wynne, MPP for Don West, as Minister of Education. The appointment means that both of the government ministries most directly affecting life and family issues, Health and Education, are now held by homosexual activists.

Although Wynne herself, a former public school trustee for Eglinton-Lawrence, has said that her status as a lesbian is not her primary focus as Education Minister, her agreement with the homosexual political agenda is complete and she has been active for years in propagating the “gay” ideology in schools under the heading of “equity.”

Toronto gay activist, Tim McCaskell, who sits on the Toronto District School Board's (TDSB) equity policy advisory committee told the homosexual magazine, X-Tra, “She is a million times more in tune with gay and lesbian issues than anyone we've ever had before.”

In the 2003 Ontario provincial election, Wynne’s answers to the Campaign Life Coalition questionnaire on life and family issues showed her to be completely pro-abortion, as well as a strong supporter of homosexual “marriage.”

Nevertheless, Marie Kennedy, president of Ontario English Catholic Teachers' Association was among the first to applaud the appointment saying, “She has proven to be a strong supporter of publicly-funded education in Ontario, and possesses a solid understanding of the education issues.” Wynne's strong pro-abortion views evidently are also of no importance to the "Catholic" teachers' union.

Advocates for the traditional family, however, have reason to worry about Wynne’s appointment, says Gwen Landoldt vice president of REAL Women of Canada. “She’s been put in a very sensitive position. This makes her a dangerous woman in a position of power and influence, and what’s at stake are our children.”

Landoldt pointed to the court decisions in Surrey, British Columbia that forced homosexual propaganda material into kindergarten and grade one classrooms against the wishes of a majority of parents. Given Wynne’s sympathy with homosexual identity politics, it is clear, Landoldt said, where the new Minister of Education would stand in cases involving parental rights.

“She’s already promoted homosexual material in the school curriculum in the past, one wonders what the future holds. We know that in the Surrey School Board case, parents’ rights have been pushed aside to promote the homosexual agenda under the guise of equity.”

“There’s no possibility that she will discourage such programs. In fact, it’s clear she will do everything to encourage them both financially and by using her influence.”

Although Wynne herself claims that her lesbianism is not of the ‘in-your-face’ political variety, she told the Leaside Town Crier in 2004, "I completely support the right of lesbians and gays to marry.”

“Do I think that marriage is a wonderful institution with no flaws and everyone should aspire to a blissful married state? No . . . I think that the institution of marriage has a lot of baggage around it that we should be examining because it has its roots in one person basically being the chattel of another person.”

“As it so happens, my son is gay. So it's my duty as a mother and politician to protect his rights (as well as others),” she said.

“I did not get involved in politics as a gay politician. That is not why I ran for office. It was certainly part of my approach to equity,” she added. “We have to fight racism, sexism, homophobia and all of those 'isms' that marginalize people.”

Gujrati Muslims Innocence?

A Gujrati Muslim said, “Majority of our Community (Gujrati Muslims) are very simple and obey their leaders, and Mr. Ingar uses his position of the Masjid and can easily fool them. He sold his conscience and his community for some worldly and materialistic gain.”

One should know that several liberal nominees who practice and respect family life --including a practicing Muslim of high stature, Br. Mohammad Ejaz-- was the candidate from the same riding. Mr. Ingar has chosen the gay over all those candidates.

LGBT strong supporter Mr. Abdul Ingar is associated with the Masjid where top class scholars of Debandi thought of school visits all the year, particularly during Ramadhan. Now-a-days, the Masjid is the venue of a weekly Ijtima of Tableegi Jammat of Toronto Region. Several hundred people attend the weekly Ijtima (gathering). Tabligee Jammah in groups come from all over the world and stay in this Masjid all year and spread Islam to the Muslim community of the area.

It is surprising to note that a person associated with this important Masjid and holding an important position became an active supporter of gays and lesbians and right under the noses of reputable Ulema (scholars) of Islam.

Mr. Abdul Ingar celebrated the election victory of lesbian Kathleen O. Wynne last year. His supporter Gujrati Muslims (mostly) in their beards and Hijabs attended this lesbian’s victory. The lesbian Kathleen O. Wynne kissed a hijabi Muslim woman at the occasion. Religious Muslim women celebrated the victory of a secular lesbian woman. Read the following column of John Barber.

A lesbian kissing a woman in a hijab — that’s Toronto

Posted by Spacing Votes

John Barber has an interesting column today on Kathleen Wynne’s victory over John Tory in last week’s election.

The quintessential image of the recent election, according to Toronto councillor and political expert Adam Vaughan, appeared simultaneously on several direct feeds from the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in North York Wednesday night, when Kathleen Wynne mounted the podium at the most elated victory party in the province and immediately fell into the embrace of a beaming Muslim woman in a stylish head scarf.

It was certainly striking: A married lesbian cabinet minister celebrating an epic victory against religious intrusion into secular life amid the cheers of observant Muslims from every denomination and a dozen countries, one of whom - a woman no less - congratulated their giant-killer with an unrestrained, sloppy kiss in front of every camera in the province.

Where else in the world, Mr. Vaughan wondered, could such a startling image occur - “a lesbian kissing a woman in a hijab” - and not just at any old photo op, but at the climax and epicentre of an irresistibly biblical political drama, with Goliath lying heels up and twitching in the background?

That’s not something outsiders schooled in current debates on the limits of tolerance might expect, Mr. Vaughan observed. “That’s Toronto.”

Mr. Abdul Ingar will now definitely qualify for the Toronto Directory of Gays and Lesbians and their supporters. He is now the main arm of “the gay agenda” of Mr. Oliphant and his promise that “our government has to address, and international human rights for gay and lesbian people, and I think Canada has to do more speaking up on these issues."

However, Listen, what Quran says about Gays and their supporters:

“And (remember) Lut: behold, he said to his people: "Ye do commit lewdness, such as no people in Creation (ever) committed before you. Do ye indeed approach men, and cut off the highway?- and practise wickedness (even) in your councils? But his people gave no answer but this: they said: "Bring us the Wrath of Allah if thou tellest the truth. He said: "O my Lord! help Thou me against people who do mischief! When Our Messengers came to Abraham with the good news, they said: We are indeed going to destroy the people of this township: for truly they are (addicted to) crime. And when Our messengers brought Abraham the good news, they said: Lo! we are about to destroy the people of that township, for its people are wrong-doers. He said: But there is Lut there." They said: "Well do we know who is there : we will certainly save him and his following,- except his wife: she is of those who lag behind!" And when Our Messengers came to Lut, he was grieved on their account, and felt himself powerless (to protect) them: but they said: "Fear thou not, nor grieve: we are (here) to save thee and thy following, except thy wife: she is of those who lag behind. For we are going to bring down on the people of this township a Punishment from heaven, because they have been wickedly rebellious. And We have left thereof an evident Sign, for any people who (care to) understand. (Al-Ankaboot 28-35)

We also (sent) Lut: He said to his people: "Do ye commit lewdness such as no people in creation (ever) committed before you? (007.080)

For ye practise your lusts on men in preference to women: ye are indeed a people transgressing beyond bounds." (007.081)

And leave what your Lord has created for you of your wives? Nay, you are a people exceeding limits. (026.166)

Would ye really approach men in your lusts rather than women? Nay, ye are a people (grossly) ignorant! (027.055)

They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin. "Excepting the adherents of Lut: them we are certainly (charged) to save (from harm),- All –Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind. (015.058-060)

O Abraham! Seek not this. The decree of thy Lord hath gone forth: for them there cometh a penalty that cannot be turned back! (011.076)

And We made known this decree to him, that the last remnants of those (sinners) should be cut off by the morning. (015.066)

Abdul Ingar is not a Muslim he is an apostate. Homosexuality does not exist in Islam. In Islam all gay and lesbian homosexuals deserve capital punishment, death penalty executions. Just to let all the Non-Muslims know that Abdul Ingar does not represent the Muslims or Islam in any way. It is not relevant for any Muslim to support gays or lesbians regardless of who they are or what party they represent. As homosexuality is strictly condemned and forbidden in Islam and the Holy Quran.

Yes! Mr. Patel, your brother Mr. Ingar is doing good job in supporting gays and lesbians all the times and in all the circumstances. Who told you (or revealed on you) that Liberal is the best party and we should vote them irrespective of their (candidate's) character and past records? As a Muslim, we should choose the best candidate among all and not the party.

I Think Br.Abdul Haq Ingar Is doing good job we are supporting Political party not their personal lifestyle.

This was really disturbing. I cant believe Mr. Ingar compromised his believes and teachings for political reasons. Shame on him for misleading the many that believed in him and that "HE" was the one that was going to make a difference. This article is an eye opener for everybody. Furthermore, not only to use a community mosque as a podium to render votes, but to allow an open homosexual let alone a female and to have her mingle with men (which is against the fundamentals of Islam) is a disgrace and disrespectful. Shame on you Mr. Ingar. You are the one who insulted all Muslims and members of your community. And i think you owe the community an apology.

I disagree and agree with this aricle. Mr. Ingar is a leader in the muslim community and he has done alot for people of all faiths throughout the years. He support the liberal party and it so happends that both candidates he backed were Gay. That is unfortunate. What I don't like is that the fact that Ms. Wynne and Oliphant used the Muslims to advance their political status. Is Islam being Gay is a grave sin and is not acceptable at all. I think Mr. Ingar should have recognized this and not backed a gay politician. Final Thoughts: As a Muslim I disagree with a the last poster. Politicians work for us, the voters. As a voter I don't wan't a Gay/lesbian person representing me, regardless of what views he/she may have. In the end my religious beliefs should override my political ones.
