Saudi Arabia gives the cold shoulder to the US as it is determined to maintain friendly relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

US president George W. Bush hopes the recent Strait of Hormuz incident involving Iranian speedboats will help the US gather Saudi Arabia's support ahead of his upcoming visit to the country.

Bush referred to Monday's incident -in which Iranian speedboats called on three US warships to identify themselves- as a 'provocative act claiming Tehran threatens regional stability.

This comes as Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal dashed Washington's hopes to garner Arab support in his Wednesday statement.

"We'll listen to everything the president says. He can raise any issue he likes," said Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal in a press conference.

"We are a neighbor to Iran in the Persian Gulf, which is a small area, so we're keen for harmony and peace among countries in the area," he concluded.

Saudi regime has done the right thing. War monger has already created enough fitna for the Muslim world, totally ignoring the issue of Palestine. Unlike Iraq any attack on Iran will certainly spill over the regime in the area. As much as Bully Bush talks of his countries National Interest it is time all regime in the gulf think of their National Interest. Iran is not a threat to any of its neighbors. This Bull does not know the geography of the region, nor the feelings of the Mulsim Ummah.
