ONCE long ago there lived an arrogant king. His castle was made of the most rare gold and silver you could find in the world. It was carved magnificently and was admired by all the people who lived there. Because of this, he thought he was better then anyone else in the world. He believed that his power was the mightiest of all. He also claimed that he had powers that no other human had. The king owned a vast piece of land stretching beyond the horizon. This land was very fertile and full of farms. These farms always flourished with vast amounts of food.

During the winter, the people of the land were always supplied with a grand amount of food. The king was always satisfied with this. He always thought to himself, "I am the wealthiest, my people are happy, and I own this place." He was satisfied above all.

And for many years it continued to be like this, until one winter. During this winter, all the townsfolk went hungry because no good crops were harvested in the fall. All the crops had suddenly gone bad that year. The people decided to ask the King what was going on.

A wise man that lived in the outskirts of the farmlands was asked to represent the farm owners and ask the king why this has happened. He did as he was told. When the king was asked this question, he was speechless. He couldn't find a reasonable answer to give the townsfolk. He told the man that he would answer him soon, so the people waited for an answer.

The king paced back and forth in his throne room. He walked across the golden colored carpet, which covered the marble floor. He questioned himself about why this was happening. Then it clicked. He thought that there must be someone out there in the world who had more power then he.

When the townsfolk found out that the king was not the most powerful, they did not like him anymore. The king grew furious about this. But then again, he knew there was someone who had more power then he had, and he decided that he would let the master, who knew more then he did, help the people.

The following year, all the farms flourished, and the king was satisfied. The Prophet (PBUH) has told us that Allah (SWT) has the most power in the world. He created everything from scratch; therefore, He knows things we do not know. We should always remember that Allah knows everything about everyone in the world from day one to the end of time.
